    1. Agreement to Terms

    By accessing or using StatusMonk's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

    2. Description of Service

    StatusMonk provides uptime monitoring, status page hosting, and alerting services for websites, APIs, servers, and other internet services. We monitor your endpoints at regular intervals and notify you when issues are detected.

    3. Account Registration

    To use our services, you must:

    • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
    • Provide accurate and complete registration information
    • Maintain the security of your account credentials
    • Promptly update any changes to your information
    • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

    4. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to use StatusMonk services to:

    • Monitor endpoints you don't own or have permission to monitor
    • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or stress testing
    • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
    • Infringe on intellectual property rights
    • Transmit malicious code or harmful content
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

    5. Subscription and Payments

    Billing

    Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these terms.

    Plan Changes

    You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

    Cancellation

    You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

    6. Service Level Agreement

    We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our monitoring infrastructure. In the event of service disruptions exceeding our SLA commitments, eligible customers may receive service credits as outlined in our separate SLA document.

    7. Data Ownership

    You retain ownership of all data you submit to StatusMonk. We claim no intellectual property rights over your monitoring configurations, status page content, or collected metrics. You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide our services.

    8. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatusMonk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our services.

    9. Disclaimer of Warranties

    Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Monitoring results are provided for informational purposes and should not be the sole basis for critical business decisions.

    10. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StatusMonk and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

    11. Termination

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease.

    12. Modifications to Terms

    We may modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through our service. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

    13. Governing Law

    These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
